Put on your short shorts, it's an early Summer

Considering much of this country is in the midst of a nasty cold snap, it seems appropriate to be in summer shorts today. No, not the ones that leave your legs bare and freezing in these sub-arctic temps, but the shorts that show what some of our less visible protagonists have been up to for the summer. Phoenix-Spiritus is the one to thank for this little collection, though a number of authors contributed stories to the mix.
