TBF, they have probably forgotten about him, even though he appeared in two different stories (well, two perspectives of the same story, anyway). Still, the Spirit of the Tree Sloth would definitely seem to be a booby prize to most people.

Ok I know this is an old one...
A mutant with the ability to fly North, and only north.

I just realized I was confused; the student I had in mind was Dasypod, whose spirit is the Armadillo, not the Tree Sloth (mentioned in "Not in Kansas" part 4 . Not too surprising, as both armadillos and sloths are known to have serious trouble with roads - the former often falling asleep sunning on them, while sloths which are moving to a tree that is across one can take hours to cross them. Either way, they tend to end up flattened as a result.

But hey, it gives me an excuse to link to two different ZeFrank "True Facts" videos (NSFW). Score!

Actually, I can go for three and propose a useless power of having a myrmiphagous tongue - and diet.

I figured they were like moths around a light bulb... forever circling until they drop of exhaustion.

Not that it makes a lot of difference, but: geographic or magnetic north?

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

Well if I wanted to have an actual mechanism for it, it would have to be magnetic north.
