Okay, first general reaction: Your stories can be a bit confusing. If I'm getting (understanding) Mads correctly he is actually a manifestation of Loki? If so then I'm assuming that part of what you write is drawn from the various Loki myths that are stirring about? If so then I really don't know enough about said myths to make a comment. Otherwise the fact that Mads seems to have lived (and is aware of) several other lives, makes reading his stories difficult, because you never know when something he encounters in his current iteration is going to send him haring off in a random direction, which means that in some instances your stories are difficult to follow, because we don't always see the logic behind Mads' behavior.
The above said, I do think you do a better job of presenting a true beginning, middle and end, something with which I struggle mightily.
Taken altogether? My advice is keep hammering those keys down!

The Lie-Smith is probably out on the Left Coast, working in Hollywierd, but Norse and Celtic myth is important to some of the deep back-story.

One of the elements of the Whateley Universe to keep in mind is that souls aren't necessarily limited to one life. Also, the distinction between a soul and a spirit can be as diffuse as it is arbitrary.

As far as reactions go, Mads goes with what he knows to the extent that that knowledge applies to what he perceives. Wierd dreams are just part of a magician's world. Sometimes they have meaning; sometimes that meaning is 'skip the late-night pizza next time'.
