Having a bit of a dilemma with some world building. I can't decide if the Courts chose planets then transformed them wiping out any native ecosystem or if they melded what they brought from Earth with what was there.

So it really come down to 'how lazy do I feal?' when I write this.

I'd go with melded because that might explain some of the Fae or magical creatures of lore. They are from alien planets and died off or evolved fast via magic?

*Cackles.*

So remember Fey Vs. Fae are two separate entities. The Fae have watching earth for a while, some are pretty well known mythical figures.

Melding could let me knock some of the arrogance out of them...

If you can tell us without giving too much away, was this part of the canon all along, or is it something you are introducing now? I can see it as something that's been sort of there in the background all along, but you're the first to mention it if so.

Either way, it does put several aspects of earlier stories into a new light. Interesting stuff.

Faeries have been in Canon since the OG lore Bible. The Division of Fey vs Faerie is my major contribution to Whateley.

Ah, OK, all good then. I'll look forward to seeing how this plays out in the stories. :)

Most if not all my stories include a fairly large amount of backstory and world building notes. Things that aren't even that visible in the narrative itself. So consider an additional 5-20 pages of lore that are soley for Cabal eyes cuz it's to keep cohesion.
