The way the weather seems to be going at the moment I don't think Snow is our problem. What we need is flood prevention equipment!

It's either that or some way of preventing the US dumping it's second hand weather on our poor little island!

Well if the UK needs flood prevention gear, you can always ask the Dutch, last time I checked they had a few ideas. I've got friends and relatives in the UK and I've gotten several earfuls about storm/flood defenses and the state of the governments response. Of course it was a little hard to make out over the 'glub-glub-glub' sounds. :P

Seriously though good luck with the storms.

Many people hear voices when no-one is there.
Some are called 'mad' and shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day.
Others are called 'writers' and they do pretty much the same thing.

Meanwhile, us here in southern California are wishing we had more weather, rather than less. El Nino has so far been rather underwhelming here.

Good riddance. Every time we drive, we place our lives in the hands of complete strangers. Those who abuse that trust do not deserve to live.

The Webcomic Flipside is currently (re)introducing a character who it's recently been revealed has similar powers to a notorious Whateley student (albeit via a magical eyepiece rather than an innate power), and unsurprisingly uses it for the same purpose...
