Hikaru at Halloween..

Yesss, my preciouss, we wants it!!

I love watching their innocent little faces smiling happily as they trip gaily down the garden path, before finding the pit with the rusty spikes.

I dunno, Ruth's had pretty bad time of that RA gig, at least until the anti-depressants kicked in. Still better than sacrificing your life by ramming a truck in order to keep it from hitting someone else, I suppose.

Of course (tm Ayla) she would argue about the precise shade of the colour...

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

Yep. That's how Beautician is written. Her POVs will have too much detail about colors, and tend to describe people's hair more than any other feature they have.

Also, Hannah (Assay) isn't there for playing the game itself. She's a part of the group because she'll notice if Milena uses her powers to cheat.
edit: They want to play the game honestly, because that's part of the fun.
When I was writing the scene, I realized that if you randomize the manual each time, it's actual a great anti-mental package game that even exemplars can play. Just like how the driving test was conducted.

Null0Trooper: Damn, I can't find a posted version of Kathy Mar's "Velveteen" anywhere on YouTube. I'll have to be satisfied with linking to the web comic Skin Horse instead. :-)

I wanted to feature a devisor that I want to use going forward, but struggled with the how a little bit. Until I realized that if Mazarin came from the Syndicate, and may have needed to replace some of the security staff as a result of the incident. So what other areas might he draw from that Carson would have perhaps hesitated to use? Enter Officer Szczepanski. Solving campus problems in the vein of Jerry Mendez.

I wonder where Szczepanski came from...
