Question Casting Whateley: the Series...

TV time! Cast your favorite students, staffers, parents, enemies, etc.

I myself would go with Jessica Chastain for Carson.

Any thoughts or opinions?
Any ideas for who you would cast and, as whom?

Money is no object, Ayla is bankrolling production.

I could see Diego Luna as Fubs psychic projection. I admit in my mind I see a blond Linda Carter as Mrs Carson, but that was the Linda of my youth, thirty years ago. Now, that's a tough role to fill. I'll have to think on that...

Linda Carter is born for that role. She already pulled it off amazingly in Sky High!

You'd almost have to go with unknowns for most of the students, but of the staff I see:

Gerard Butler as Lord Paramount (This is Wallachia!)
Katie Sackoff as Ms Hartford. (I, know, just think hard ass, but also lady like)
Edward James Olmos as Charlie Lodgeman (While we're having a BSG reunion)
Ian McClellan as Rev Englund
Lee Arenberg as Morrie Goldberg
Mackenzie Crook as Stan Lipscowycz

And
Geoffrey Rush as Ty West

I dunno, some of those seem a little too old. I picture Englund a lot younger than Ian McKellan.
and Edward James Olmos also seems a little too old. Don't want actors that'd break a hip or worse trying to do running scenes.

I could see Robert Beltran ( Voyager's Chakotay) as Lodgeman, or Michael Horse (From Twin Peaks.)

It is a wish list. But Rev Englund is in his ninties... As of April 28th, 2007 he had just turned 91.

I suppose you could cast McKellan as Englund, but you better do your homework, or else.... "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"

For some reason, I tend to imagine the psychic projection of Fubar as looking like Barack Obama. I guess the former president just LOOKS like a teacher...
