TV time! Cast your favorite students, staffers, parents, enemies, etc.
I myself would go with Jessica Chastain for Carson.
Any thoughts or opinions?
Any ideas for who you would cast and, as whom?
Money is no object, Ayla is bankrolling production.

Remember we never see Fubar's physical body outside of his tank.
Every thing else is a projection, which could be simulated with hologram projectors, and well-rehearsed physical-theatre choreography, a la https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhl5afLEKdo and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW0gI6W-ztE

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

I could see Diego Luna as Fubs psychic projection. I admit in my mind I see a blond Linda Carter as Mrs Carson, but that was the Linda of my youth, thirty years ago. Now, that's a tough role to fill. I'll have to think on that...

Linda Carter is born for that role. She already pulled it off amazingly in Sky High!

You'd almost have to go with unknowns for most of the students, but of the staff I see:
Gerard Butler as Lord Paramount (This is Wallachia!)
Katie Sackoff as Ms Hartford. (I, know, just think hard ass, but also lady like)
Edward James Olmos as Charlie Lodgeman (While we're having a BSG reunion)
Ian McClellan as Rev Englund
Lee Arenberg as Morrie Goldberg
Mackenzie Crook as Stan Lipscowycz
And
Geoffrey Rush as Ty West

I dunno, some of those seem a little too old. I picture Englund a lot younger than Ian McKellan.
and Edward James Olmos also seems a little too old. Don't want actors that'd break a hip or worse trying to do running scenes.
I could see Robert Beltran ( Voyager's Chakotay) as Lodgeman, or Michael Horse (From Twin Peaks.)

I'm picturing a younger John Cleese as Fubar's mental projection for some reason ....

It is a wish list. But Rev Englund is in his ninties... As of April 28th, 2007 he had just turned 91.

I suppose you could cast McKellan as Englund, but you better do your homework, or else.... "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"E. E. Nalley wrote: It is a wish list. But Rev Englund is in his ninties... As of April 28th, 2007 he had just turned 91.

yes... yes I would.
and I would get one, too. If you can get dance routines with that plant from Little Shop of Horrors, we could easily do something with a cthulu plushy in a tank and tentacles everywhere.

For some reason, I tend to imagine the psychic projection of Fubar as looking like Barack Obama. I guess the former president just LOOKS like a teacher...
Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

Given the very nature of the exemplars I don't think we could do them justice.
