Idea The Mods are Crazy

Ok, so quick disclaimer before anyone comments: this is a joke thread. I don't have anything against any of the authors, mods or Kirsten. This is simply a small short-paragraph writing game where you invent a paragraph where a author, mod or staff-member does something differently. This does not mean spilling anything about their lives IRL. It just means creating a fictionalised version of them, telling us what would happen if they were x (i.e. if Kirsten was at Whateley; if Morpheus was the morpheus from the Matrix; if Elrod was writing while on crack) and doing it in a completely inoffensive way. I know this is a very, very thinly constructed sheet of ice, but who knows??? We might have some fun!!! Don't slam something till you've given it a try!!!

S**t!!! I messed up the title. Yes, it was meant to be a reference to 'The Gods must be crazy', but unfortunately, I stuffed up the title. Thanks for telling me my mistake. Can't believe I missed that.

"That was then. This is now." Elrod patted the oily brown wall shingles of his rebuilt house with a grim smile. "This time I'm prepared. This time..." He took a deep breath and then pressed a button concealed behind a shingle. "This time I have the GigaDuck."

The ground surged beneath the officer's feet, toppling him into a cluster of lawn gnomes. "What- What's happening!?"

Elrod's response was maniacal laughter as his house rose from the ground atop two large mechanical legs. The east and west wings of the house shifted slightly for balance as it pitched forward to lower the green porch to the ground behind Elrod. The man backed onto the yellow welcome mat, still cackling, and the house righted itself, lifting him thirty feet into the air. Rain sheeted off the oiled shingles to splatter at Dudley's feet, and Elrod finally calmed enough for speech. "You duck out if you want, Drake, but my house is amphibious! Maybe I'll end up with egg on my face and a huge bill, but I don't think this little bit of fowl weather is all it's quacked up to be!"
