Question The Good Sith Triumphant

Rebellion by the citizens of Balmorra, there will always be rebellion where the citizens see unjust rule. At least it is Darth Vannancen who was sent to inspect things, sounds charismatic and beautiful. D'oh! Reporting in on Republic activities and it ends up starting the New Sith War because the Republic commander had to jump the gun. The description of the retreat sounds hopeful for the Sith side.

*skin crawls* The description of the Jedi masters emotionless, blank faces, just creepy. Nyeomi getting scolded by her mistress, hehe. The Jedi breaking the treaty, calling the Sith evil while being totally emotionless, things were different back in this age. Saved by Darth Vannancen, only for her mistress to be stabbed in the back by the Jedi master, coward. Maims the Padawan and the Master gets angry, at least he can show emotions. And sounds like Nyeomi killed the Master Jedi in one stroke, dang. Saved once more by her Mistress and forced to flee as she senses her Mistress' death, ouch.

Nyeomi woken up by Tari from her nightmare survived the ambush and crashed into a jungle on a planet, better than the alternative. A Sith Apprentice not striking down her helpless mistress, dang, big impact.

"That was interesting!" the little droid exclaimed in Michael Caine's voice. "Let's not ever do that again!"

I like X4, he's silly.

Tari uninjured and Nyeomi quite possibly has a concussion, Tari is smart to bail out and not risk injury in a crash. Two full legions landed at the Inescapable Fortress, half of one going in search of them in the jungle, oh boy. Nyeomi blaming herself for all the death above and below, no way to no the enemy outmaneuvered them until it happened.

Good to see more survivors, especially Torm. And with how Nyeomi greets him, she is very happy he survived. Silas and Darius alive as well, more good news. Boy, Tari noticed a lot of things while coming down, that cave is probably their only chance of getting out of this alive with half a legion coming for them. At least Torm is quick to dismiss Nyeomi's guilty feelings, the fortunes of war are fickle and unpredictable.

100 against 2 full legions, plus getting into that Fortress and escaping with a craft to carry everyone, sure, make the odds ridiculous, more heroic when they succeed. A cave at the end of a box canyon, hope they have time to set up some traps. Ruins leading into a cave, interesting, almost feels like it's out of Lord of the Rings. Boy, Torm knows how to get Nyeomi to do what he wishes, guilt and concern mixed together.

Yikes, dreams of the rise and fall of the Sith race, beautiful to start but terrifying by the end. And a dream within a dream and a Sith King appears before her, whoa. Naga Sadow, eep. Sith Alchemy, creating monsters and horrors just to see if he could, true monster there. And saying she is a slave to the Force, to its will, ugh.

Nyeomi stands up to him in defiance, only for Naga Sadow to call her an ignorant slave and goes to show her the work of her 'Masters'. Showing the coming war to Yavin IV and says she is just a disposable cog, nothing in the great schemes of the Empire, talk about arrogance. Nyeomi still defiant, saying even the Sith revile Naga Sadow, she is alive and he is just a bitter shade.

Freed from his grasp but still asleep, she comes face to face with Darth Vannancen, still a beauty as Nyeomi remembered her. Nyeomi embracing her and crying into her bosom, she is told to learn from the past, but don't live in it, good advice for anyone. Darn, Naga Sadow will show up again, hoping that old shade was gone for good.

"We are all the Force, my apprentice. Life creates it, makes it grow and we are alive and so we are the Force." She smiled a sad smile and put her hand against my cheek. “In all honesty, Nyeomi, I do not know why or how the Force brought you about, part of you here and my apprentice, part of you Edward from Earth. I know that now, together, you are where you should be, and you are doing what the Force, desperately trying to heal itself, needs you to do. But it has always been your choice.”

Basic message I get from that last part, even if some unseen force is guiding us where we should be, it is always our choice how we act. Good message.

Interesting, even if informed what our future actions would lead to, would we believe the message and even then would it have changed our minds on how we acted. Making Nyeomi question so many other little conceits she held about this adventure she found herself in, interesting. Finally, accepting her choices as all her own, hard for people in the real world sometimes.

“That is one possibility,” she admitted. “Out of uncounted billions and trillions. Already you know this history is different from what you thought you knew. Who can say with any certainty what will happen three thousand years from now?”

With a girlish smile she reached up and touched the tip of my nose with her index finger. “You worry about you. History will sort itself out. I warned you this would be a hard road. Now, wake up.”

Interesting, just because history was shaped one way once doesn't mean that is how it will be now with your actions influencing things.

*wipes brow* For a moment there I thought she was waking up to an attack and people dying. Tomb of Naga Sadow, no wonder his shade invaded her dream. Whoa, the Inescapable Fortress under that heavy of an assault, Courageous, Darth Marr's personal dreadnought. Didn't expect the Allied forces of the New Revanite Empire and the Galactic Republic to show up, very nice surprise.

Now there is a sight I never thought to see, Imperial Troopers and Republican soldiers working together is more fantastic than everything else so far. Her father there with other generals, plus Darth Marr and the Revanitte Emperor Darth Malgus, talk about intimidating for poor Nyeomi. And the Emperor has a Twi'lik wife named Eleena Daru, never expected that. Jedi Grand Master Satele Shan, intimidating more still, though the attitude this woman gives Nyeomi, ugh.

Oh boy, a mission that if Nyeomi fails they all fail, talk about pressure. *eyes bug out* All that from finding out about Vitiate and what the Hand and Will of the Sith have planned, immortality at the cost of all life in the galaxy, that is insane. So the Hand goofed by going after Nyeomi, final evidence needed to get Emperor to back her plan and the Republic to end Vitiate once and for all, talk about a big blunder on the Hand's part.

Nyeomi knew they were decoys but couldn't break her oath, at least Darth Marr is able to get Torm to see the good side of this, though Torm will talk with Nyeomi of this later, oh boy. Whoa, working with the Jedi, infiltrate the Fortress and kill the Will of the Sith, tall order. Expert computer slicer on Barkhesh and no secret entrance, things just got more difficult.

The tomb of Naga Sadow, no road to it, and Silas figures it out, clever. Underground, made by tunneling through granite, those poor workers. Only till dawn to find this road, keep stacking on the tall orders.

Torm dragged Nyeomi off to a corner to have a talk, heh. Torm upset, thinking she was happy to leave him to go on a possible suicide mission without a word, it was her duty and required of her as a soldier, oh brother. Nyeomi led the mission to protect the men who went on the mission, her husband and children, everyone she could, talk about taking on too large of a burden by herself. But also because she is scared of losing Torm, aww.

Torm knows just what to say, he won't let Nyeomi get away after finding 'the one'. Whoa, feeding off all that passion between them and vibrating with the Force. Bwahahaha, kissing passionately and they find the hidden passage to the secret road, classic.

Ah, poor Darius left behind with the generals to plan as Torm and Nyeomi go with the team down the secret road right to the Fortress. Great, a Jedi whose face is hidden by the hood, challenges Nyeomi to single combat. Betting it is the Padawan of the Jedi Master she slew who killed her own Mistress all those years ago. Grand Master Shan confronting the Jedi, Idina, mechanical robot hand, my guess was right and she is twisted by hate.

The risk too great is why the Jedi shunned all emotion, oh brother. And Idina renounces her membership in the Jedi Order just so she can have revenge, *sigh* Darn, Malgus saying Nyeomi has to answer the challenge. Whoa, Nyeomi just told Idina, if that girl doesn't let go of her hatred she is toast. Using Darth Vannacen's lightsaber, Idina is going to wish she had died back then.

*eyes bug out* Nyeomi force choking her, taking back Darth Vannacen's lightsaber, and she is going to kill Idina unless someone Nyeomi actually listens to intervene. *wipes brows* Nyeomi reins her temper and spares Idina's life, realizing it won't bring back her Mistress. Tossing Idina to Grand Master Shan and says to get her some help, Idina has given into hate, having to be restrained. Eww, Nyeomi has a Jedi, with none of the passion, that is just wrong to even contemplate.

5 to 6 kilometers between the two temple complexes and Torm feeling so distant from her due to his reaction to her unleashing her anger, ow. Great, brother ready to put her down if she becomes the Sith Lord he worried she could become, lots of faith there, guy.

Walking into this scene out of a horror movie, just what happened here in the past. And it seems the ritual has been completed already, this is the worst possible scenario. Having to find Vitiate and the Will, complicated doesn't begin to cover it.

Interesting bits of history on the Star Wars universe and the Battle of the Inescapable Fortress is the perfect name. Massive energy shield preventing air support, rats. Torm, Silas and the men to take out the heavy blaster cannons on the Fortress, while Nyeomi and Tari go to take down the shield generator, now what complications can happen to make it harder. Leaving Tari to defend the troops in case of a Sith about while Silas goes with Nyeomi, that will do it.

Nyeomi dealing with all those worries in the middle of a battlefield, not good. Dang, that kiss and Torm taking charge with that command to Nyeomi, the only man who can handle her. And Nyeomi's response, they have a unique relationship, hehe. Silas doesn't even recall the threat, only made the threat so her and Laura would quit having catfights, smooth move. Called her his sister and family, a tender moment as she hugs him, nice to see this trouble wrapped up so quickly so Nyeomi can focus on the task at hand.

Another person to have a long talk with once this is all over, heh. A crate full of 30 thermal detonators, fate has smiled upon them, bye bye force field generator. Earth shattering kaboom, always love a Looney Tunes reference. And Silas in response, stop, my sides are hurting. Their own foes supplying the means for their defeat, too perfect. And Nyeomi is off to make sure the VIPs don't escape, after all this can't let Vitiate escape.

Dang, about to Force leap to reach the ship and forced to dodge a Sith lightsaber. Idina attacking her with a no doubt stolen lightsaber, figures. Psycho twisted physically now as well, intent on killing Nyeomi no matter what. Great, giving into hate has made Idina more powerful, faster. Idina trying to batter her down with a barrage of blows, only for Nyeomi to block each with deft skill.

Even after all this Nyeomi is still trying to spar Idina, Idina not giving up with a broken nose and jaw, yikes. Idina pinned and overpowered by Nyeomi, Nyeomi Force throwing a small metal disc onto the Interceptor as it began to take off. Deflector shield down, guns disabled, and the troops storm the place, won the battle but if they don't find and kill Vitiate they have lost the war. And spars Idina's life, few others would in her place.

Upset at herself for quoting a fictional Sith Lord while she toyed with Idina, Nyeomi was showboating and could have ended it much sooner. Darth Vannacen manifest, telling Idina chose to be deformed, her replacement hand could have been covered with synthetic skin. And seeing in Nyeomi's mind what Darth Vader looks like and his macabre sense of humor, being impressed by him.

Nyeomi blaming herself for her need to show off, how it got Vannacen killed, yet Vannacen has no regrets about being one with the Force now. Even a reason for showing off, in persuading an opponent not to fight, which is good. Homing device and they headed for Celanon on the Hydian Way, interesting. Ooo, Vannacen is good, feeling to Korriban makes much more sense. And getting to keep Darth Vannacen's lightsaber to remind Nyeomi of her, nice.

Darth Marr and wondering where was the good news of success against impossible odds Nyeomi used to bring is. Silas dancing with a female Empire trooper, cute. Only one Sith Empire again, bigger victory than Nyeomi probably expected, despite Vitiate and the Will escaping. Ah, Sergeant Malo is the female dancing with Silas. Thunder Squad under command of Nyeomi, things just keep getting more interesting. And helping out Silas so Malo can get back to him quickly, good sister.

Lead by the Force and finds Torm away from the party, for a talk that has been coming. Made her desires know to him, Torm admits Nyeomi scares him, constantly challenge him. Awww, afraid she can break his heart. Wars are just ugly, no matter who is fighting them, no truer words were ever spoken. Honest to a fault, Nyeomi is a very rare woman. Wanting to be claimed and like it, definitely a different kind of woman.

Better than 500 troops between the Thunder Squad and Torm's men, plus a dozen or more Jedi Knights, better numbers than I thought. Sith Home World and all that to protect it, eep. Master Danric Tummins and his followers going to assist Nyeomi, nice. Satele giving them the Sleipnir, dang, things keep going their way now.

A ship close enough to the Millennium Falcon, I would be giddy over getting to fly in that. Silas with Tari as the copilot, this is going to be a fun flight. Escort and support by Captain Rusan with the Dreadnought Courageous, whoa.

Fourty five minute trip through hyperspace, nice to see the truth of how long such a trip takes. Silas going to look for Lieutenant Balo, heh. Korriban's description makes it sound like it belongs in a space horror movie. Tari teasing if she dies she will haunt Nyeomi, good friends to do that.

Taking out the shore batteries of the Academy that quickly, nice. The Jedi leading the charge as they land, Malo is smart and has her troops remove their helmets for instant friend or foe determination, risky but worth it in this kind of fight. Taking the spaceport in minutes with the gun batteries from the Sleipnir aiding them, most impressive.

Non-fighters drafted as troops by the Academy, talk about desperate. Casualties light on the good guys' side, Balo hooked up with Silas, hehe. Makeshift barricades, those can be a real pain to deal with. And Nyeomi makes an epic speech to the Sith at the Academy, hope it works as well as she hoped. The Will of the Sith tries to talk out against her, but she challenges him to single combat with the winner laying claim to Korriban and all those loyal upon it, nice gambit.

Face her or lose face and all his troops, smart move. Interesting arena to have their duel in. Eyes glowing from the Bogan and Force flowing through her, epic. Trying to cheat with a thermal detonator, which she crushes in her hand and suppresses the explosion, dang. Trying to Force Lightning her and she just channels it harmlessly into her blade, resisting his Force attack and Force leaping like that, awesome.

An insane exchange of blade strikes and parries, this fight is incredible, you have to read it for yourselves to get all the details without me just repeating it. A vision of the future for Nyeomi, more exchanges of strikes and parries, and he tries to taunt her saying she is afraid, fool. Carved his lightsaber staff into pieces and struck him down with both blades, fast but intense fight. Malo starting the cheer for Nyeomi, the troops shouting her acclaim, all the Sith there recognize her as the victor and winner of Korriban and all those loyal upon it.

Darth Vitiate not there, rats. Guess that is for another time.

Star Dreadnought Executor, is that a Pokemon reference? Some idiots actually held out resistance and did not submit to the champions duel, good grief. Korriban in New Revanite hands wonders how big a change to the history of Star Wars this will have. Darth Marr praising her, loving the irony of how the Will of the Sith was laid low. At least he is letting her leave to start a family and raise kids with her values, Marr certain is a jovial individual.

Moving the seat of the government back to Dromund Kaas, why do I have a bad feeling about this, as if Vitiate is lying in wait there perhaps. Marr the Prince of Ruuria, Captain Rusan solidifying their hold on Korriban, seems everyone who survived is moving up in the galaxy. Gather information from recovered stuff from Yavin while they prepare, good to not go in blind when Vitiate is involved.

2 days travel to Ruuria and Torm actually pleased upon hearing what Darth Marr had said, interesting. Hehehe, Nyeomi thinking men like that, perfect to mark her journey. Lanaka seriously needs to find her own guy and get rid of the attitude already, before it gets her killed. Barkhesh starting to feel like home and going to miss Master Arridin's tea sounds like she and Torm should settle down there.

The favor owed to the Void, still fearing it will be a price she won't wish to pay. Fable Malo, interesting name. Silas and her together and Nyeomi having a female friend, good, she needs that after dealing with Lanaka. All the loose ends haunting her, too many loose ends, need to wrap them up.

Keeping in shape easier than getting in shape, wish it was easy to get in shape. That is the larval stage of the native Ruurians, very interesting. Though sounds like metamorphosing into an adult would be a nightmare, to lose your mind in such a way. Tari's parents at the estate and Nyeomi brags about what a great student she is that Tari's nose blushed, heh. All those people there, Darth Marr and even Nyeomi's parents, talk about pressure.

Countess of Banudan, Dame Commander of the Order of Revan, now that level of honor I wasn't expecting. And Tari is a Lord of the Sith Order and Knight of the Order of Revan, dang.

A Captaincy for Fable Malo, to go with her Knighthood into the Order of Revan, all of my troops received the Liberation of Korriban medal, even my 'loaners' from the Barkhesh Defense Force.

Torm, Silas, and Darius knight as well, Torm given citizenship in the Sith Empire and title of Baron, whoa. Thunder Squad now the House Fens Ducal Guard, I was right earlier, everyone who survived is moving up in the universe.

The manor belongs to the Duke and Duchess of Ruuria, Nyeomi's parents, in charge of the planet and Darth Marr Price of the Ruuria solar system, impressive. Beautiful city design with beautiful sights, very nice. Now that is a ring worthy of being called a work of art, glad they are making it official. A vision of the future again, with her just having delivered their son, beautiful.

A month later, her parents and Torm's there along with Silas beside the groom, Fable Malo beside Nyeomi. All the outfits described as just so impressive and beautiful, with a dress for Nyeomi I'm not sure could be recreated in the real world. Darius Persia wrapping a heavy silk cloth around Nyeomi and Torm's arms, white and black, Ashla and Bogan. Stating their vows, then the Force wraps around them both as they kiss, the feelings Nyeomi has something many can only dream of.

Tari caught the bouquet, now that makes things interesting again. This story was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. How we find out every major character is okay, Tari locating Nyeomi and them reuniting with Torm and the others, the regroup at the camp and the reveal they had been used as bait, with Nyeomi knowing this. All the drama this caused between her and Torm, how it was resolved quickly enough without it feeling rushed, the taking of Ruuria and the duel with The Will. All those awards, promotions, and ranks given, some I expected but others were a total surprise. And I loved the wedding, so beautiful. E.E. Nalley, you have woven a wonderful tale that drew me in from start to finish once again. I can't wait till once again we get to visit the Star Wars universe with you.
