Question MythBreakers, by Charm (published Crystal Hall Fan Fiction msg#17490 20081129)

I noticed that this hasn't been reposted to the new site.

Is Charm active currently?

I have a copy on my hard drive; I converted it to an .odt document shortly after it was first posted. Converting it to the format for publication here would be easy. (Caveat: I did correct the spelling of Mythbusters to MythBusters in the disclaimer, but I don't remember making any other changes.)(It's actually stored to my OneDrive account, so a hard drive crash won't lose it; I did have to retrieve it from a backup drive after one system failure.)

Would it be acceptable to post this to the new site, acknowledging that it is Charm's work, with the information concerning when it was originally posted to the Crystal Hall forums?

Looking through the FAQs, there doesn't seem to be anything directly touching on the topic of reposting non-Canon materials from the old forums, when you aren't the original poster. If this weren't the same entity, there'd be no question that it wasn't allowed without the okay of the original poster, but with it being the same entity, but forced to move to a new location due to circumstances precluding a complete copy of the old data, it's more ambivalent. It would depend upon what the official copyright policy was at the old site, and I didn't keep a copy of that, so I don't know if this would be covered as being part of the Crystal Hall's Intellectual Property; the current copyright notice makes it clear that in a future situation, if it had been posted to this site it would be.

Generally speaking, we don't presume to repost forum stuff without the OK of the author -- the copyright issues are murky at best. Even a few "advance peek" fragments from canon stories that were never officially finished for one reason or another fell under this and remain unreposted.
