Question First spammer to make it through

    • Well, we had our first spammer make it through. Thanks to our fans who reported the spam forum message. It is now removed the user's whole IP address block is blocked (every ip used by that service provider) And I've added a simple add on that's going to email Kristen and I the ip address of anyone who registers. So we can decline them before they get the chance.

    Some might call this Geo-profiling, but a few hundred aggressive spammers and hackers have totally burned any bridges I was even interested in leaving open.

    This last spammer didn't even post in English. Until such a time as someone comes up with an add-on that will translate forum post on the fly to what ever language you prefer. This will earn the spammer's entire ISP a block if I get to it first.
