The forum is in read only mode.
× This section is for feedback and discussion about in progress Fabrication Lab works (before the story is 'published' to the site, at which point use the commenting system or the Evaluation section for formal reviews).

If a author is open to discussion/feedback on their story, they will create a thread for it to take place in... if no thread exists, it means the author prefers to work without feedback at this time. Authors may also make a post and just ask that any feedback be sent via PM instead of public posting.

  • I almost forgot to make this. Anyway, standard rules apply. If you have a comment about the tale and can't or won't use the new system for some reason, place them here.

  • An interesting start to a tale which is more than it seems. Doc Reg, is he some sort of devisor, gadgeteer or just plain mad scientist? And from the memories flashing before the eyes of the dying individual at the start, it sounded like a male who was dying. Especially since they asked out a girl to a freshman dance and went with another girl, unless she is a lesbian. So either I'm confused as to the gender of the person who died or something happened to their old body to make it female in the 30 or so years since their death and revival.

Thank You for story comments appreciated and help me know me they are being read and liked. :-) Note: My story comments can't nor are trying to replace reading the stories, simply my way of enjoying them and letting the authors know I enjoy them.

  • a new body, with old brain.
there is a fair bit more posted on BCTS.

Stupidity is a capitol offense, a summary not indictable one.

  • Dawnfyre has it right. I meant to get all finished chapters with that post though... did I miss one? If so, whoops. Working on edits to Min's tale at the moment and I'm not sure I can edit the old posts yet....

OK, just looked, and the post was cut due to word count; a good half of it is missing. I'm torn between trying to fix it and waiting for the problem to be resolved first.

  • There is no problem, it was mentioned in another thread after Domoviye tried to post his 1st Tink story in whole that there is a character limit to each post. I forget if it was mentioned if the limit could be changed by the staff or not, going on 4 am here, but pretty sure the character limit per post is hard set for the forums.

  • Right... I read it. I also read some possible work-arounds for it listed in those same posts. Not sure if those will be implemented, or the hard limit will stay. Not sure if I will get that elusive fan fiction nod that seems built into the forums this time around, which may make anything I do on my end moot.

If people want to see the rest posted, along with the other stuff I have, they can let me know. Unless I get that feedback, I'll sit back for now and wait.

  • I have been reading "I, Monster" for what seems to be forever and had finally given up on you ever finishing it. Hopefully, your uploading it to the new site means you are going to complete it. I know that sounds like I am scolding you but it actually is a roundabout way of complimenting you and saying that I cared about the characters and was invested in the outcome of your story.

  • lol, reading it forever? it's existed exactly a year. I'm working on a new chapter, I haven't given up on it or any of my stories, posted anywhere. It's just... Mary is a wonderful character, but she is unbelievably hard to write. So as loud as shes screaming in my ear at this moment, I need to take my time and get it right.
