Beyond that it's all a case-by-case basis as far as anything else they might "get" such as a specific dorm, membership in clubs, etc... all depending on what their, and their possible "sponsors", contacts might bring to the table. (note: this is the same as any other student)
There's no "special discount" on costs or other benefits.

Also, in the case of the Bad Seeds and Golden Kids, those club's entry requirements are all about the parents.
Oh, and an obvious but important thing, Parents who went to Whateley are already "in the know" so to speak about the existence of Whateley, it's purpose and how to contact the school, all important things considering how "hush hush" Whateley likes to be about it existence.

Phoenix Spiritus wrote: From stories with Legacy students, there tends to be some considerations given to allow the students to enter the same cottages as their parents, provided the student meets the cottage requirements (so, in reality, that could just be Admin "humouring" the parent, and putting thier kid exactly where they were going to put them anyway), also if a parent left a campus club "in good standing", the clubs are at least going to consider rushing the child on the parent's recommendation, so there is a slight leg-up there.

Well I don't know if they'd put Wallflower in Poe if she wasn't a Legacy. Other than having had an intersex condition at birth, which she didn't know about till after she manifested, which both surgery and her BIT have removed all signs of, she's basically an ordinary heterosexual girl, well as far as the word "ordinary" goes for a Whateley student. Noting that the only reason the school knows about her risk of ending up a changeling is because of her parents.
Legacy students might have some training before enrolling, so they may get placed as sophomores, get put on the spot more, and given less leeway in classes, also pushed harder in their "Physical Education" classes. When its a sibling or other non-parent relative legacy, the training might not be there, but for instance I'm betting Danny will be predisposed to certain clubs and cliques, however due to his (or occasionally) her powers, Poe's an automatic.
Any Bad Ideas I have and microscene OC character stories are freely adoptable.
