  • Is that a thing. I mean we have things that sorta count like familiars. But could there be for what ever resin a natural born animal ,not animal like class X, that has powers?
I mean we have that kitten that lives in the woods, with all the monsters, weres, and class Xs oh my, so that could be an example. Unless it is a class X or used to be human.

Someone who mutants into a super powered animal... that's an idea that has potential. At present the closest story like that would be Tinks.

  • If mutations are being guided by some higher force as suggested in the Braeburn Report, then mutant animals seem highly unlikely. If it's something more natural, then I would think mutant animals to be very likely.

For the kitten, are you referring to Timeless's kitten? His kitten is definitely special, but that's more likely to be because of him, than any innate ability, I think.

As far as mutating into an animal, I'd say that the closest we've seen is Razorback.

  • Given the way they act, I would suspect most kittens as being Class X entities...

I love watching their innocent little faces smiling happily as they trip gaily down the garden path, before finding the pit with the rusty spikes.

  • Early Episode Weirdness, i think there was a mention of mutated animals some where, but that doesn't mean they where Mutants like the students mutants. And that was as clear as mud.

Apparently it does happen. Pre-Drowification, Bova was headed for that end thanks to Chimerical Trait Acquisition.
