I freely admit I am not caught up with the Gen 2 stuff, so forgive me if this is covered some where, just point me to the story.
Are they made from Magical metals or just normal metal? I know in the real world the legend is that, I think it's, the sword was made from a now lost metal alloy.

Well, here's the thing: even in our world, the Imperial Treasures are so closely guarded that no outsider has seen then in centuries, and it's actually a matter of some doubt if they even exist. That goes a hundredfold in the WU, where they are actual powerful divine artifacts. So, they might be, or they might not. The Imperial Household is not telling.
Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

Which works just fine for me then, as there is nothing currently that will contradict anything I write in fan fic.

If you DO want a Gen 2 canon answer, PM MageOhki and/or Wasamon... the Japanese elements are their bailiwick and they can probably give you a definite answer. And may be likely to, if it doesn't impact anything they plan to tell down the line. The character its most likely to involve would be Hikaru, so I'd suggest starting with MageOhki.
Not that there's any special reason to insist that you try to meet canon specs.
But, neither of them spend a lot of time following the forums, so you'll need to reach out instead of hoping for an answer here.

Actually, I did read this. I'll say the following:
1: WHAT the treasures, at least one of them, is made of, is coming up, to some extent.
2: What plotlines are involved in the three treasures, >> << If Any, of course.

Cool, I can wait and read then. Not like the artifact I was thinking might be made of the same material is a definite inclusion in my story, and I'm not even close to writing it showing up any way if I do include it.
