  • Where the Weres all created from human stock back in the day, or where some created out of other species (sidhe, ect) that the Bio-mages or who ever got their hands on?

  • All we can really tell based on those surviving is that they were able to breed/cross-breed with humans. This would tend to indicate that they were based on human or human-compatible species... which would rule out Sidhe unless the process to make them was sufficiently radical enough to make them over in such a way as to be virtually human+ anyway.

  • Weres started as human, empowered by one of the more benign branches of the Court of the west towards humans. Aung had a hand in it.

But they were created with a certain level of instinctive subservience to the Sidhe.

I'm not sure I know what a were wolf wolf is.

That was Larry Niven's take. Werewolves weren't humans that turned into wolves, but wolves that turned into humans.

Were Wolf wolf is a normal wolf that turns into a giant monster wolf. Sort of like a direwolf but mangie.

I had a dragon character with a human form that sometimes jokes that he is a were human. :D

Ok then, so were and human are linked, so can't have one without the other... Hmm. Maybe the off shoot's I put on my planet have chosen to go Red Talon, and stick to wolf form? Or maybe there where a few but started to die out so the bio-mages got creative.... something to ponder.

  • They chose the world cause their was no sentiant native life is what I'm thinking, though that doesn't mean they couldn't uplift something close to the human genome. ooo, gives me an excuse to change the 'wolf' form for something neat.
