  • So far we have seen quite a few of the traditional fantasy races of one form or another. But where would the big Moo's fit in? If at all?

  • A Minotaur would be more or less a Were Cow wouldn't it?
Though on some level the concept would be udderly ridiculous.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if Dr. DNA had maybe, briefly, while sleep deprived for a few weeks, and caffeine deprived considered making a bovine based Animan.

Yes, then he had a nightmare about whole herds of these creatures walking around saying to each other, "greetings traveler!" And, "walk with the earth mother!"

Traditionally, the minotaur was the result of Poseidon inciting a Minoan Queen to have sex with the Cretan Bull (similarly a singular monster). In other words, like Pegasus, it was not a traditional fantasy race. Unlike Pegasus, it was neither a demigod nor something children wanted to ride.

Most likely, a person who resembled the minotaur would be a mutant with GSD or the object of a curse.

Yep... could be similar to Harry Wolfe (Techwolf) in that respect (the curse). Now, that's not to say the Sidhe or one of the other races didn't have the ability to make them and/or there may have been something similar pre-sundering.

  • I say we've got the causality on minotaurs backwards due to Sundering shenanigans. Minotaurs came first, and from them descended the ungulates, the satyr, and the hominids. Centaurs, of course, were just a myth inspired by an occasional mutation within satyr communities that lacked genetic diversity. It resulted in growing an extra set of legs, but the result didn't look at all like a centaur. Just a satyr with extra legs sticking out awkwardly from their hips or waist. The whole 'body of a horse' thing was a corruption formed as the tale was retold.

If this keeps up we are going to need an exterminator. Can't you turn them into something more usefull. Maybe Sara's room could use a new closet.
