  • What do Lord Paramount's elite troops look like? Are we talking "Thundercat" forms? I'm assuming that the other end of the bit beasty spectrum is feline Animen who I picture as looking something out of Werewolf the Apocalypse.

Also are they all the same cat breed (tiger, lynx, cheetah...) or are they a mish mash?

  • The Catamounts, being altered humans, are much more human than the Animen, this is due to how they are created. The catamounts are humans whose bodies undergo a series of retro virus DNA treatments, as well as a cocktail of exotic performance enhancers. Animen, at least in the first generation, were genetically manipulated and created from scratch as a blank template, force grown to a mature specimen and a donor 'soul' grafted onto it.

Although, if you ask Dr DNA he claims to have "merely" transferred a copy of memory engrams and neuro-chemical states from one brain to another.

So, a Catamount looks like a bestial human, like so:

An animan is a bipedal genetic creation, or a beast in human form, with human intelligence. But they are not human.
