  • I'm assuming shop class isn't restricted to ground transportation?

  • Given the suits of power armor, jet packs, and other crap we've seen. I would say no. Don't forget flight class.

    Don't Drick and Drive.

  • There's no "shop class" as you might find in a regular high school. There are various Tech Track classes, dealing with various kinds of technology. The nearest thing you will find to a "shop class" is probably the Gearheads club activities, but while supervised by a teacher i don't think those constitute a class by themselves -- more like an "open lab" period, in which, besides fixing and tuning up their personal vehicles, students might be working on projects worth credits in their regular classes. For instance, Loophole used Baby Girl as a testbed and technology demonstrator for a number of projects, such as her high-efficiency, low-pollution engine -- which, besides being patentable, was probably a project in one of her Mechanical Engineering classes.

Sometimes it might even be some other student's project -- Baby Girl's paint job is actually a nano-coating developed by Compiler, with various... interesting... properties. It might be that Loophole is field-testing the coating for Compiler, and Babs will use the data for the credits in her own classes.

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

  • Kay. Had a mostly background character who wants to build something like the Asgard flying skiffs from the Thor movies.
