    • So we know the spell isn'/can't be checked to see if it's in place, going by the fact that what's her face in gen2 hasn't been flagged by Mrs. H, or at least that is my take. Can the caster even sense it take hold?

    I would think that the spell is traceable as a mystical link between Horton and her targets, so she should be able to sense that it succeeded at first. Whether she can keep track of every single instance and how well it is working on someone she doesn't see often - I'd bet against that.
