Question The secrecy of ARC

Okay this may be a strange question to ask about an underground bunker that houses a supervillain jail but, how secret is the ARC facility?

We know they have tons of employees, both baseline and mutant. Everyone who works there probably has signed a confidentiality agreement and possibly some level of government security clearance, or at least gone through the back ground checks to get it.

On the other hand with that many people there has to be leaks somewhere. Especially with the number of people who know about it who don't work there. Apparently heroes who want to can gain access to the facilities under the right circumstances.

Also, do they have interns?

My first thought is no, what college student is willing to go through that much hassle for a work term.

But then again many of the employees are scientist researching the bleeding edge of mutant theory. They need lab assistants with enough knowledge to help and not get in the way. While also not having a good enough resume to be hired elsewhere in a higher better paying position

Are we asking how secret Arc Red / Arc Black are and the specific facility that houses them, or how secret the actually organisation ARC is?

From the original Sara White Canon stories, ARC the organisation has worldwide offices and contacts with most of the worlds governments, with a fleet of suborbital shuttles (at least, a private one that was going between Sydney and ARC's main facility, and Sydney's not exactly a normal place for a US based worldwide company to store a plane.)

Oh right. There are sections above arc red even at the facility we are most used to seeing.

Well that answers my question and makes it seem even sillier.

Most college students interested in the field would kill to work at ARC. Unfortunately, most of them are prevented by the need to qualify for security clearances. So there may be a few graduate research assistants around... there aren't any high school kids

There goes most of the probability of my theory about Ribbon visiting her daughter as part of an internship program... Darn, that was a fun one..
