Question Ectoplasm (manifestor)

- from what I read here on the forum there is a mental template contructed by the manifestor that gives the ectoplasm its shape and properties, to what degree would an ecoplamic thingy fool an examiner, analytical equipment or autonomous robot ?
# I have read here on the forum that ectoplasm mimicing energies can’t burn or stun/chock, they can only impart force. does that mean an ectoplamic rocket can fly or even carry real physical stuff?
# if so, that would mean it could not corrode stuff either, right ?
- what about itself being corroded or ignited/set a flame by chemical (unless it is apart of it’s mental template to react that way)
# can a gadgeteer sense ectoplamic components for what they are ?
- I guess that some gadgeteers could sense the shapes and such but not any system or function.
- in that case could an ectoplasmic item be mistaken for a devise ?
- or some of them might sense the template and mistake it for a system if it resemles one close enough ?

Chemical Analysis would not be fooled by Ectoplasm, which is chemically inert. A chemist might be fooled but not an independent electronic sensor.
Yes, an ectoplasmic rocket could carry a payload.
As for being flammable or corroded, Ectoplasm is non-flammable, and usually disperses when burned. On the other hand, ectoplasm can put out a flame by suppressing oxygen and smothering the flame. It's chemically inert, so corrosion isn't a factor either way.
An Ectoplasmic device could be mistaken for a devise, as mainstream science has NO IDEA as to how either of them work.
