Question manifested tisiue deformity and the shifter trait

    • In a case where the person can manifest a suit of armor(ectoplasmic) that when donned reshapes the character, when removed the shape remains until the manifesting of it is ended, the character show no signs of being able to affect the shift by any other means then donning the suit or dismissing it entirely.

    How would any you categorize this mutant ?

    As a shifter/manifestor or a manifestor with MTDS ?

    Are there any experts in the US of 2nd gen whataley-verse that can be contacted for a consultation and perhaps testing.

    • Care to clarify exactly what you mean by this? It sounds similar to a character concept I was working with for a while, but I want to be sure before giving my two cents. If you'd rather keep it vague for the most part, would you be willing to PM me with an example of this character using their power?

    • From a first glance, Id say your key factor is time. MTDS takes time... in a sense, it is an advanced version of what happens if you wear a corset. Wear a corset for a while and your body adjusts beneath it. Take it off and it goes back to normal... but over time, normal becomes closer to what ou used to only achieve with a corset.

    What you describe sounds more like shifter with an instant shift in one direction but a decay time in reverting to normal.
