OK, quick update, and rather dissapointing one. One month ago, I said work had been slow. Now, it's completely stalled. Now, I'm still on the project. But, I've had uni exam prep for the last god known when, I've got three papers to write, edit, send in for draft marking, rewrite with feedback included, consult professors and lectures on topic choice...when I signed up for Mechatronic engineering, I didn't expect so much goddamm papers and theory. Sure, since the mech engineering labs are currently being rebuilt somewhere else, I've got 'free' time when I should be doing actual engineering practical work. However...that just means I have a shitton of time to spend writing papers OR spending a small amount of time writing stuff for my online fiction works OR actually having a social life beyond work and online stuff (read that as playing D&D with my gaming group. I'm not a party sort of person, nor a jock. I'm the sort who spends way too much time debating whether a Demilich could kill a Lictor from 40k. I'm the sort of person who plays competitive wargaming, not rugby league (although, growing up in a country obsessed with sports gave me SOME exposure to playing rugby. More of the 'I got tossed off the field while running' sort of exposure. But anyway.)). The point is that while I WANT to write some more of the RPG, I just never get around to it. It's still a ongoing project, don't get me wrong. But me and the other members of the RPG design team haven't been as proactive as we could have at doing it. The lack of communication due to living in different time zones has also been a issue. But, don't sweat. I'm going to attempt to at least start and make progress in a new section of the rules by the end of next week. That's a promise I hope to keep. Keep those critical hits coming folks!!!
