Hey guys,
Sorry for the long absence. I've been wracking my brain trying to stat out everything and I think I just need to change my direction abit.
I'm veering away from a pure D6 system and trying something inspired by Open Legend RPG. So instead of rolling D6s, you'll roll a d20 + the dice tied to the ability/power score. And if you get the highest number on the dice, it explodes and you roll again until you hit a number besides the highest. This way, even an Underdog has a fighting chance to survive the experience that is Whateley Academy. Plus, exploding dice are just fun!
I don't think anyone is waiting on baited-breath for the Whateley Academy TRPG, but I'll try to get some snipes of my drafts up here for review and play-testing as soon as I can.

For skill checks, "exploding dice" make real-world sense because lots of people are good at storing up a trove of useless and obscure facts.
