Question A Touch of Mischief

I bet Mischief is going to get a headrush when she discovers Imp is teaching at Whateley.

Well we learned some very imp-portant things about Melissa, like she is just a lonely little girl, that really wants a friend to hang out with.

I do have a prediction, Mischief is going to be the first student to get detention before she gets to Whately, and Imp is going to be the first teacher to get a detention.

Heh. I am so, so looking forward to Parent's Day with Imp, Mischief, and Chickenhawk.


So, is Melissa going to end up in Dickinson or Whitman?

She might go to Melville, too. But I think she might fit well in Dickinson, and the "we are shaping you into young LADIES" approach there might be good for her, given her previous lack of female parental figure.

Whitman seems to be the place to go for more adventurous girls, that seems like a good fit for Mischief.

Plus she has a demonstrated tolerance for GSD cases, which Mrs. Savage would find invaluable. Though the possibility of Mischief ignoring the flags would be less desirable.

So all of those IMP stories were actually just setup for Melissa going to Whateley?

Since direct comments on the story kept saying this was too long, here is my detailed comments made as I read the story.

Ah, to be young age and happy about turning 14 or even 18. Yeah, she isn't Imp's biological daughter but probably her spiritual daughter with the same sense of humor, antics and even the "Bacon..." part which reminded her dad of Imp.
Glad that her dad has changed for the better, interacting with her more. Maybe it means there is a chance for him and Imp to hook up.

And another reminder that growing up isn't easy, as friends drift apart or change, more so if you are a mutant.
Love the teasing between her and her dad, only people who really care about each other can get away with that.
Bwahahaha, even before reading it I knew she had her fingers crossed, can't promise things which aren't completely in your control or you can't predict. Plus she loves Imp too much to stay away.

"You promised to teach me how to get out of handcuffs..." Her dad would say Imp is a bad influence, can't be a bad influence to someone who wants to learn such things. When she gets to Whateley I have a feeling she is going to join the prank war between Beltaine and Thorn and everyone will be in trouble.

Okay, she is definately Imp's spiritual daughter. Only someone with that kind of mindset and spirit would go "Neener neener neener" while running from 3 guys bigger than her. Or go out looking for excitement of this sort.
Now messing with car thieves and laughing at them, she is going to need Imp to bail her out of trouble at the rate she is going. And ends up running into her 2nd favorite villain, rambling like an excited teen would do, and ducks to hide from daddy. Having forgotten about the car thieves already, it seems. If she hadn't proved herself so smart in previous stories, I would think she is a bit scatterbrained.

Ack! Not another cute girl who can do puppydog eyes effectively at Whateley. We're doomed! If her, Jade and Clover of the TLW team-up, they could take over the school with them.

Taunting a superhero, if someone doesn't reign her in she is going to grow up to Imp 2.0. Not that that is a bad thing. Bwahahaha! Banana cream pie to the face, it never gets old. And bit with having her sic Ultramax on the two car thieves.
Blinded by her own thoughts on her hero, she doesn't realize that Christine is Imp, as she would call herself beautiful, talented, and fabulous. And ouch, to feel like her hero is going to leave her like her mom did when she died, felt that one.

And Imp knew the perfect gift for Melissa. Now if only she would pay more close attention to the message in the note and how it relates to something else she recently read. And the bad luck of having mutant relatives who didn't go to Whateley and could prepare her better. The jacket is a nice start though. But with her attitude she is going to be getting in trouble for messing with the various bullies around campus, if it doesn't get her sent to Doyle.

Nice to see Ryan defending Imp, she may be a thief but she has honor and never hurts others if she can help it. A rarity in the real world. And he is lying to himself that he doesn't like her.
Woe be unto any idiots who try to take her mother's jewelry from her. With her power set she can get nasty quickly. And I'm betting that pendant has more to it than it appears. Probably a tracking device for dear old dad's peace of mind if not more.
And great job with the hidden 2nd painting of their 1st meeting in the original painting and Melissa's emotional responses.

The thing that I'm looking forward is Mischief and the Three Little Witches meeting. The raw chaos of that part of the class of 2011 alone may be worth it's weight in popcorn.

I'm glad that everyone seems to be enjoying the story. I wrote this one primarily so I could expand on Melissa and her motivations, but also to so I could show what Chickenhawk is like when he's off duty and just being a dad.

Just don't feed that kid to much sugar. And if she discovers coffee O.M.G. the mischief she will cause there. And how will the staff react to her once she is there.

I can see Mrs. Carson going into a fit when she sits down or picks up the phone after a visit by her.

Surround him trying to pat, pet and cuddle him between all classes, so much so that everyone just assumes he is a Wondercute member, no matter how strenuously he denies it, even to the point that the teachers force him to do Sims with the rest of the Wondercutettes.

All I could think of was Cat Boy or Panda boy, anyone else have a good idea? It has to be absolutely instant 'I can't stop myself stroking you' cute. Someone that when Mischief sees him on the train she just has to sit down next to and cuddle right up to, the same for the three little witches and all of Wondercute.

Actually, I can see all of them ending up taking art class, and having the TLW react to Mischief's reaction to finding out that their art teacher is the Imp would be a hoot.

I'm trying to come up with cute mutations other than GSD, but all I can come up with is manifestation, and Wondercute is already manifestor heavy, so I want to avoid that if I can, so I'm drawing a blank.


Also, I imagine that his cuteness made him a bully target before coming to Whateley, but that being a member of Wondercute would go a long way towards protecting him from bullies.

he doesn't have to turn into a cute animal like thing. He simply has to understand and embrace the cuteness. A boy who dresses up nicely but doesn't try to be sexy, likes Disney cartoons and gushes over cute animals and things will fit in perfectly. It will be a bit harder for him to notice, but not impossible.

Yes, but a boy in Wondercute under protest is way more entertaining then someone who's in there because they actually like cute things.

Danny wanted to cry. Mischief had started it, and it had all got out of hand so fast and now Mrs. Horton was on the way to call his mother, and Danny just knew his mum would then call Kayda and she'd tell her everything she saw and then he'd have to try and explain how he ended up naked on the common room floor with four girls laying all over him.

It just wasn't fair!

Sniffing Danny tried to remember how it had happened. It was all so inocent! Mischief had come over for some maths tutoring, and when she mentioned it at lunch Cover had got jealous, so that had meant it had turned into a tutoring session with both Mischief and the Three Little Witches.

Everyone had come over to Poe, and Danny had quickly taken them to a study room, and it'd had all been going fine, till Clover got bored and stroking him, making him purr. And then the ears had come out, and that got Mischief also stoking him, and then he'd started getting fur, and Clover had started cuddling him and ...

Danny was still in shock, he hadn't even known he could do that, transform fully into a mountain lion. The girls had squealed in delight! Catching him, and cuddling him and removing his school uniform form his now cat body, and their squeals had attracted others, until the whole of Wondercute in the room next door plotting for their next sim had found him too.

It wasn't until Kayda had walked in that the shock of seeing her had broken the embarisment and allowed him to transform back ... naked ... with all those girls clinging to him. And then Mrs. Hortan and come in!

Danny put his head down and cried, life was so unfair.
