Question Question about Tennyo after Norad C

Hi folks who know more backstory than me. So Billie is all alone in Poe after she gets back from NORAD C until folks get back on the sixth of January.

But surely, Sara is around and Jet is too?

I don't think either of them went anywhere, and Sara is looking after Paige, who's a newcomer over the winter break and stuck on campus. (Cite: Merry, Jade 9).

Were they just playing along with the "falling out"?

At the table was Team Kimba. Along with the core team, were members that weren’t in the core team, but were close friends for one reason or another. Riptide, Bunny, and Lily, sitting next to Hank.

Another team was also present – The Pack, as they’d secretly begun calling themselves. To the rest of campus, they were distant acquaintances that sometimes hung together. The truth was that Sara ruled The Pack, and the other girls were all linked to her in one way or another – Jamie, Erin, Hippolyta (who glared at Hank and Billie), a girl named Gypsy, the inky-black Jet. Even the new girl was there – the black-furred cat-girl Paige.

That's not a falling out. That's two groups of people with their own agendas and relationships.

But most of them had work to do, or had long ago come up with useful things to do with this rare idle period. And even when Billie could visit them, eventually the time came to return to her room.

Maybe she did visit them on occasion, among others, but nothing happened worth mentioning.

At this point in the story they are faking a falling-out, that is, exaggerating the differences of agenda, because they are trying to smoke out Sara's would be assassins. That was why I put that bit in quotes.

Sara probably went to ARC for the holidays. I mean, she would want to spend some time with Donna. And Jet would go with her.
