Question Do we ever get to see the geopolitical outcome of Petra's story?

    • It happens mid December, ahead of the 2006 Christmas fuss, but doesn't make the news internationally in any of the other stories I've seen so far. Which I have to presume it would if they had to use nukes on the Italian countryside. But does the outcome feature (as a sidebar or otherwise) in any other stories?

    Also, does Petra appear even in passing in any other stories set after that?
