  • So I have a question/idea. Where is Phesclangorenthalmin gen 2?

We know he is slowly becoming a human girl from Jade's milk and is being taken care of by the Amazing 3. But it's been 10 years, he'll have grown up into a different type of hellspawn called a preteen.

I think s/he'll be going to the Whateley middle school like the 3 little witches.

My dreams take me to far off lands and times of distant past and future. They tell what has been done, what will happen and who I am. They show me things beyond the machinations of any man. Tell me, what are dreams to you?

  • Indeed, it has been 10 years. Only 10. The average age for a high school freshman is 13-14. Add in the fact that Whateley is a school for human mutants... and you've got two major reasons not to see her show up at Whateley.... at least, not at the beginning of the Gen 2 time frame.

  • Except the idea of 'junior high' as it applies to Whateley isn't a real thing. Yes, there are a couple kids who manifested young enough that they would be in junior high (7th or 8th grade) were they in another school district. However, for whatever reason, they are at Whateley... and they are effectively being 'home schooled' in the sense that classes and assignments are being tailor made for them because there aren't enough students to constitute a normal scheduled class. And where otherwise, impractical, those classes overlap with freshman classes.

And a 7th grader is likely to be 12... maybe 11 for a month or two before turning 12. A 10 year old is far more likely to be in 5th grade. That is either still Elementary school, in a school that does K-6) or a Middle school (where t he district assigns either 5th-6th together... or 5th-8th). Junior high is typically 7-9 or sometimes only 7-8... with high school starting at either 9 or 10.

Anyway... none of that really applies... and the character appearing in G2 would fall into the character of unnecessary cameos or reveals of people who are still alive and active in some way in the new time frame.

here, Elementary has been k-7 ( k is half days for a year before grade 1. )
    Jr High 8-10
    High 11,12
    now they are doing:
Elementary k-4 ( separated as k-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, with no pass/ fail just more advanced classwork until you complete the requirements to move up )
    Middle 5-8
    High 9-12

    grades not ages. ;)
My Junior high was grade 8 through grade 10, High School was only grades 11 and 12.

Stupidity is a capitol offense, a summary not indictable one.

As best as one can describe 'standard' in all hte independent states and school districts, it goes like this:

    Elem - K-6
Jr High (aka middle school) 7-8 OR 7-9
    High School - 9-12 or 10-12.

Whateley follows the 7-8 Jr High with High school being 9-12
