  • The supposedly Hydrokinetic RWBY fan introduced in Calamari part 3. I thought I had an advantage in character analysis on him for my familiarity with MaLAguA, I was wrong. Now as for his powers, I honestly don't think he's a TK variant, he didn't move the water more so than change its direction, I want to say specialized warper electromagnetic effects on liquids touching the body, but at this point, its hard to say.

Something doesn't add up though, how's he paying for tuition? His power rating is reportedly low, and he's a runaway...

He stowed away on a luxury trans-atlantic steamship, and when it ran into an iceberg, Vic gave up seducing an heiress and used his mutant hydrokinetic powers to bail water out of the Captain's personal lifeboat, where the coward was going to escape with his mistress, and in gratitude, the captain gave him a special blue gem - Stomach of the Sea - that Vic traded for an all-expense-paid scholarship to Whateley, escaping in the nick of time because the Captain had reported that Vic stole the gem from him and the authorities were after him?

This actually makes more sense than many origin stories I've dreamed up....

  • It actually makes more sense than some of our characters origins...:P

I love watching their innocent little faces smiling happily as they trip gaily down the garden path, before finding the pit with the rusty spikes.

The same way Jade was, until someone gave her $600,000.

  • Depending on how flexible his hydrokinesis is, he could be a real boon to the sewer work.

See how creative I can be when my head is swimming in congestion and decongestants and ibuprofin and I decide to do 'stream of consciousness' rambling? I forgot that the Captain had stolen the gem from the purser's safe and substituted a bad fake. Given a few minutes, I could flesh that out into a full origin story :)

Don't forget... the stomach of the sea is a powerstone that allows the possessor to hold their breath for enormous amounts of time and eat enormous amounts of krill.

I double-dog-dare someone to write a short fan-fic or micro-scene using this as an origin tale
