It seems that the site has me permanently marked as offline, even when I tell it I am online it leaves me marked offline.

It says that for me too. It doesn't like me..*sniffle*
I love watching their innocent little faces smiling happily as they trip gaily down the garden path, before finding the pit with the rusty spikes.

Thank You for story comments appreciated and help me know me they are being read and liked.
Note: My story comments can't nor are trying to replace reading the stories, simply my way of enjoying them and letting the authors know I enjoy them.

Same here, tried setting it to online but keeps offline status instead. Even if I log out and log back in again doesn't seem to fix it.

I'm glad this is a mere technical problem; for a few moments, I thought this was the announcement of someone's epitaph or tombstone carving:
John Doe

Permanently Offline.

Check your additional settings (The "Add. Settings" button). There is a forum settings tab, and a "Show Online" option, make sure you've set it for "Yes"

Already had it set to Yes, but still won't change from Offline to Online when I change settings. Keeps saying Status saved but doesn't change it.Phoenix Spiritus wrote: Check your additional settings (The "Add. Settings" button). The Forums software changed last week in a pretty big way. I'm not sure if the online/offline statuses work properly as a result. I'm holding off on looking into it personally until they get through some other adjustments/fixes. I'll let you know when it 'should' be working. For the moment, consider it turned off.
