  • ... switch of the "View (new posts in) topic..." popup when moving the mouse over a forum topic link?
They don't disappear when I'm middleclicking the link to open it in a new tab and make it difficult to hit the next topic above when coming back.

  • not likely, if you want any functionality left.

but, if links to navigate are not important, just disable javascript in your browser, that will get rid of them.

Stupidity is a capitol offense, a summary not indictable one.

  • I really don't see that problem. The popup disappears fine when I move the mouse after middle-clicking

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

  • I've set my browser to directly open the new tab in the foreground, therefore the mouseover script doesn't see any mouse mouvement away from the link.
When I go back to the tab the mouse pointer is not in the area of the link so the popup stays visible until I happen to move the mouse over the link again.

Dawnfyre: I don't want to get rid of the links, it's just the "explanation popups" I don't need ;)

  • I just had the problem again:
Middle click the link to open it directly in a new tab, close the tab after reading it.
The popup stays and blocks the link above until I move the mouse again directly over the orignating link.
