  • As I revisit stories I'm wondering who is still active and who isn't.

I understand Maggie & Babs are out. Diane? Dr Bender? Is there a place here or on the WIKI where these are listed? If not, can it be built?

Perhaps as part of a canon author bio?

    Thanks!

  • Let's see...

Dr. Bender has been around, but I have no idea on his plans.
Maggie is currently here and working behind the scenes.
Dianne is still off storming the Hellmouth (or whatever).
JG just returned a bit ago, I think he has plans to release a short story or two (or maybe just a few billion new words of stories).
    Bek is around and writing.
EE is recovering from surgery and writing
Kristen is here (obviously) and is writing about Esoteric. (Now that others have caught up, maybe we will get some more.)
    Warren is here.
    Elrod is writing.
Morpheus is bringing his noncanon characters into canon.
sleethr canonized Whisper, but no idea what else is planned.

And the Gen 2 has nefarious plans ongoing.

My apologies to any authors I have left out. I have this nagging suspicion that I am missing someone that recently returned.

  • Yep, I'm writing. Currently, the Bear, the Bitch, and Everything is at 36,400 words. Part 2 is in review and about halfway through part 3. Stories Is about half over I would guess.

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

EE and I are giving each other more ideas than either of us could possibly write. I'm about one section from being complete with Kayda 10 Part 6 (the finale). I've got plans for Kayda 11, and EE and I batted ideas back and forth that should yield at least 3 more stories which involve Kayda, Lanie, and Tansy.

    Let's see - in work I have:
    Would The Last One Out...
    School of Hard Knocks
    My Fair 'Shine
It'll Shine When It Shines (tentative working title)
Kayda 11 (no working title yet - inspiration hasn't hit)
    Laura in the Labs
Danny 1 (no working title yet - inspiration hasn't hit)

Plus I have ideas for at least 3 more Kayda stories, an Elle tale, another Gen 2 tale, another Danny story ...
Muse is going nuts right now.

With the prodigious rate of Morpheus, what EE and I are grinding out, plus Joe's surging tidal wave of tales, with Bek putting stuff in the queue, not counting Gen 2, y'all will have a lot of reading to do. 8P

  • Heh. When G2 got started, I kind of expected G2 output to outpace G1 output, considering that they outnumber the active G1 writers, and the G1ers are pitching in on G2 as well.

Apparently I forgot to account for the fact that y'all are crazy people who don't understand the meaning of the words "stop" or "slow down".* :D

Whisper, no updates there. I want to, but just haven't found the muse for it. :(

JG, Maggie, Renae, DrBender Branwen ... I don't see anyone missed.

I think only Dianne and Babs haven't dropped in and said 'Hi' on the new site (please say 'Hi!' Babs! Your friends miss you and just want to know you are well :( )
