Question Sending PMs/in house mail

    • Am I missing something, or should there be an easier way to send a PM in response to a Forum post?

    There's no obvious "send a PM to this poster" button or link in Forum posts. Then, when I click on the poster's profile there's a "Write private message" link on the right side, but that link just takes me to the front page of my mail tab. It *should* go straight to the compose window with the address of the poster already filled in. Shouldn't it?:unsure:

    • While I agree that the "write a private message" link from a forumite's info page is not helpful, it is not true that there's no "PM this poster" in the forum posts. It's hidden under the "More" button below each person's avatar and rank. And that button does fill in the person's name in the compose window.

    I agree that it's not obvious, though, since you are not the first person to have difficulty in finding it.

    • Ah, yes, so it is. Hidden in an icon that looks like a comic strip talk balloon. Not exactly intuitive, IMHO.
