Question Old news articles

  • If you aren't going to update the news every week when a new story comes out, you might want to change the template for news stories so that they have visible dates on them. That way someone going to Discussions and seeing the "news" article doesn't think something from two weeks ago is "new". News is usually time sensitive.

    Not a big deal.

  • The dates are visible on the article itself, which you get to by clicking on the title of the article. Same as if you want to check/set a rating or comment on it. I'd actually like to remove the field for 'hits' also... but can't.

    Same as the Stories as shown when you first click on "read stories" ... minimum info when you're looking at the list of them, if you want the full deal, you have to load the full story page. Its just that the articles that used to be for the front page news are short enough that I have not been placing 'read more' markers in them.
