  • Another minor item, I like the pictures but how about a caption to identify the character, the subject (what is the ferrets name etc.) and maybe the author. Just a thought.

    Thanks

  • The plug-in for this site, that places them in the sidebar, doesn't allow for anything other than the pictures... There is, however, a Gallery that does have that... Go to the top and click on "Backstory and Info" and then you'll see a gallery link on the left-hand side. This gallery shows all the pictures with a name for the photo when you hover over them... If you click on them you'll get a larger version with a longer description in some cases.

  • If you are thinking about getting more pictures which I would really like you might want to upload some shorts about Whateley on something like DeviantArt. It is like advertisement for artists specifically.

  • I would be happy to (modestly) contribute financially to commissioning some new Whateley fan art. If someone can organize it, I'd gladly chip in.

  • A good friend from my days at Univ South Dakota just finished up a grad program at the Academy of Art, University San Francisco for Storyboarding. He's looking to get his feet wet with some commission work and I put a bug in his ear about doing some work for us. It wouldn't be free, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's willing to work me a deal. He just set up a web page at: www.joewilliamsart.com/ if you'd like to take a look at his stuff. Will let you all know how it goes. Btw one of the big reasons I am talking to Joe is that he has a good sense of action poses and unlike a lot of our fan artists, his style is far more realism and American animation than anime. Not that anime is bad... but I think the more realistic style (check out his sketch of Psylocke) will suit our protagonists nicely.

  • I like his stuff. Is Drunkfu around to ask about fan art as well? He did a huge chunk of it back in the day. Any others?

  • Could always ask ngu0061 about the possibility of art. I loved the video of the process for the Ribbon picture, and the Absinthe picture was rather cute as well.
