Question idea...List of forum users that can give info special subjects or places

    • had this idea when a person hit me up for info on Los Angeles

    So the list can be here or ? any ideas?

    a forum user lists of their expertise on subjects or places that authors can potentially tap when in need
    Example...firearms....NO, a revolver cylinder does NOT click when open and you spin it!

    My personal short list
    Major info on Los Angeles and I mean it...I know the whole area very well and crazy stuff most don't (ex did you know the first Bush family beer gardens was in Pasadena?)
    Movie industry: Terms and how it works and layouts of major studio lots via working at them
    Disneyland major:
    Disney world of the mid 80's with Epcot via 2 visits
    Firearms and law enforcement via college study/range masters assistant and family in service
    WW2 history inparts

    and now on to the next contributor?

    • Yes, please... it's a great idea but I agree with Sir Lee that its placement should be in the authoring section of the forums. Suggestions and Staff Help are pretty much 'must read' forums for me and things I need to come back to from time to time as I have time to work on the site. If they get too 'full' with things that aren't really site specific or reasonably doable by me, I'll end up spending more time in review than working on upgrades. :P
