The other day, I brought the Wiki's Lists of Canon Stories up to date (yes, that's plural, for those at the back who haven't been paying attention!), as well as my
Stats Spreadsheet
. While doing so, I had another crazy idea...
Since the word counts are currently overall, but the author roster changes over time, I've now compiled words per author combination per year (WordsPerYear tab), both as raw numbers and percentages, together with each author combination's overall word count, number of years active (Bek leads the pack there, having written something every year since Whateley started, with EE and Heather in joint second - 10 years of contributions each), and average words written per active year (Diane leads the pack, followed by ElrodW and the ElrodW / EE combo).
For 2016 (updated again tonight to add Kayda 8.3), the roster looks like this:
13.7% Morpheus
13.6% ElrodW
11.7% ElrodW, Nagrij
08.9% Nagrij
08.8% ElrodW, E. E. Nalley, Morpheus, Bek D. Corbin, Kristin Darken, Neomagus, Domoviye

Oh, and courtesy of a Longest Stories tab I added a while back, Kayda 8 is the 32nd longest story in the universe (unsurprisingly, Diane takes up four of the top five, but ElrodW and Morpheus take up positions 7-9 with Kayda 1+2 and Imp 3), while the Intro tab calculates we've currently got 228 stories in 423 episodes covering 9.2 million words, from 49 author combinations, 34 unique authors and 28 unique first authors (i.e. single author stories plus first named author in multi-author stories).
Needless to say, if any of you have bright ideas for further development of the sheet (especially if it's something that can be automatically calculated from the story list so auto-updates when I add new stories / episodes!), let me know
