    • Okay, this kind of thing isn't really a big deal to me, but since I like to end my posts with smilies it's been getting kind of annoying. Has anyone else been having trouble with the the page reloading whenever you click on the Smilies button? It's been doing that to me every time I try to post since sometime yesterday I think...

    Do you have something installed that will prevent modals from showing up? That is what should happen (and what happens for me) when I click on the smiley face in the post editor. Can you include smilies without clicking on them (ie just typing in the characters that the modal gives you? if you can, then its probably a pop up blocker or something being overzealous.

    • Btw, so you know I'm not just pushing you off ... the reason I'm suggesting an outside source for the problem is that while I DID do an update today, its been about three weeks since the last code update... so anything that only started a few days ago probably isn't site related. It's possible.. but the odds are lower than if you just saw it for the first time this evening after I did the update.

    • Btw, try the new quick reply set up. It also uses a modal... so if you're still having issues with the smileys because its a modal, you might not be able to use quick reply either. Which will help us pin it down, maybe?

    Edit: Well, quick reply worked, but for some reason I the emoticon modal still won't open up for me. It's stopped completely refreshing the page for some reason, but it still doesn't show me the available emoticons.
