  • If you are a fan of the Imp, and of Penny Ake from "Please Don't tell My Parents I'm a super villain, here is a side story pre-equal set thirty years previously featuring the short lived super hero team. "Team Tiny"

"I did not give that Spider Superhuman Intelligence"

Instigated by a four foot nothing tailed elf-like being who goes by the hero name "Goodnight" Because that is the last things bad guys hear just before she drops a safe, or piano, she's not fussy, on them.

Plus, learn the origin of the mysterious "Spider"

  • An additional (and entirely different) suggestion for fans of the Imp: Thief's Covenant by Ari Marmell.

I tend to describe the book as Lies of Locke Lamora crossed with Small Gods by Pratchett. It's about a girl and her god. The girl in question, Widdershins, is a thief with just enough divine protection to give her an edge and just enough insanity to drive everyone around her nuts. (For anyone who's read Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson, Widdershins is who Lift aspires to be.)

Also, there are blood sacrifice, demons, and faeries. Presented in increasing order of terror.

Sadly there appears to be no ebook, i guess the author dosn't want my money. i'm rather perplexed at how often that happens.

  • I've only read it in e-book form, from the Los Angeles Public Library ebook selection.

Checking briefly, I seem to be able to get it as an ebook from either Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

We live in a global society folks, except when we don't and some idiot decides to geoblock anyone who is not an American. This is actually one of my Dad's favourit rant topics. Its also why Australians pirate so much. And yes Amazon does this to me all the time too. I want a book, and I can't get it. Yes I know technically it's the publisher's fault not Amazon's fault.

  • That's dumb. What about libraries? The libraries that I'm familiar with (Los Angles Public Library and the Harris County Public Library) both have pretty good ebook collections, but I don't know whether Overdrive has different collections internationally. And even if you can't get it as an ebook, there's probably a library with a physical copy somewhere near you.
