  • I mean the only way this year could be any worse is if all my favorite actors and musicians got on a bus to a New Year's Eve party and they ran off a frick'n bridge!

  • You've got some left? This year's been rather unkind to both groups.

  • Fate plays no favorites. We lose the best at possibly the worst time.

  • It's what we get for asking George R. R. martin to write the year for us.

Carrie Fisher and Richard Adams. :(

  • way I see it, its that time of year we should be looking at who we still have instead of just who we lost. We may have lost Carrie Fisher, Prince and John Glen this year but we still have Willie Nelson, George Lucas and Stan Lee.

  • Don't forget we lost the soul of R2-D2 as well. Rest in peace Kenny Baker.

If George R.R. Martin wrote the year, then they aren't dead, but some random peasant has been substituted and they will return at a later date.

Gene Wilder, Alan Rickman, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and too many more.

Debbie Reynolds is apparently in hospital after suffering a stroke.

  • Some theorize the stress of losing Carrie caused the stroke which took Debbie. Mother dies the day after her daughter, very sad.

  • Myself, I trace the start of the bad trends to the deaths of Leonard Nimoy and B.B. King, early last year. I remember thinking about one year ago, "we are going to enter a year without Spock and without B.B. King. It's going to be hard." I didn't know the tenth part of it.

  • A Happy New Year to everyone

And a wonderful vacation in Nebraska...

I love watching their innocent little faces smiling happily as they trip gaily down the garden path, before finding the pit with the rusty spikes.

    Because they are huge!

Vomitiriums aren't rooms, their the latin name for the entrances in stadiums amongst all the seating, it's actually the crowd that vomits out of them :)

If you read history.howstuffworks.com/history-vs-myt...s-in-vomitoriums.htm , you will find that some bars and fraternity houses actually installed special sinks for this purpose.
