I had some Whateley art commissioned (Wiktoria Gok, in case you're curious) - it is a picture in Kayda's dream-space which includes Tatanka and Wihinape spirits, Kayda, Debra, and Danny.
Kayda - dreamspace artwork
If you look in the category "ElrodW", you can find other sub-images, such as focus on Wihinape, Debra, etc.

it's funny, I envisioned danny being smaller. Well, I will adjust my mental image going forward.
Amazing arts, thank you for commissionning this.

There is no such thing as a cat girl not being needed, but in this case I'm surprised that Wihinape was not drawn as a full cougar.
On that topic for a minute. While Danny has been shown to go full Cat girl, will he ever go full 'female' cougar?

My understanding is that in full cougar form, Danny is female. If you meant going "full cougar" in another sense... well, even if Danny becomes that comfortable with a female body, I guess it would take some 20 years at least before she would be considered a "cougar."
On a separate note, does the artist have a website, or a DeviantArt page or something? I tried Googling, but only found a bunch of Eastern European pages on unrelated subjects...

It's a good thing that's Dreamspace, because I think they are a tad bit too close to that fire.

I'll vouch for her work as well. She does a great job, and is really good about communicating with you and adjusting to want you want in the work.
My avatar pic is a recolored version of one of her works that she gave me permission to use, and I've also got artwork for a fanfiction from her (specifically of Kota and Prairie Sun, from Dom's fanfic that I helped him with but for the life of me can't remember the name of at the moment...)

Wow, this is great. I wish we had more (author approved) artist renditions of characters and stories. Any way we can help create a deeper Whateley image library? (anonymously - perhaps through a Patreon account?)

That's a great idea. Enter into a partnership with a single/group of artists to illustrate the WU. Doing character portraits/important scenes. I'm sure if set up with a proper plan many would just throw cash at the screen. Myself included.

I'm willing to participate and fund some (not huge amounts - at least not until I win a big lottery), and I'll work with any artists that are as easy to work with as this last project. May want to get the cabal, though, to weigh in on what it would take to create an 'officially-sanctioned' artist group, and then about what it would mean to fund them.

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

We were actually looking into this kind of thing as we were going through the planning phase for G2. We'd wanted to get full official artwork, at least portraits for our main characters, to accompany the initial release of the project. What we very quickly found out though is that it's tricky to find good quality artwork that all the varied personalities in the nonexistent cabal can agree on. And not really having a budget for it (anything we got at that point would have been out of each author's own pockets), didn't make that any easier. We had a couple of possibilities lined up at one point, but those ended up falling through.
So yeah, there's definitely interest in getting official WU artwork, it's just a matter of finding a way to make that work.

Enjoy the art work as they help give a touch more realism to the story(ies). Just need a bit more filling out on Danny's (i's) story.

Checking in re: Patreon - is anyone exploring? I am not connected to artists but I'd love to throw some (anonymous) cash to help fill out the gallery. Anything I can do to help? thanx!
