Question Team Kimba, where did you go?

It can't really be said that any of the stories, etc., are not to my liking. However, I really miss Team Kimba.

I am so grateful for Phoenix Spiritus having picked up Hank. And Elrod has really done a great job with making Ayla a living presence in the continuity. Jade and Chou have had several great appearances as has Fey. Thank you, E.E.!

But Tennyo is conspicuous by her absence and Chaka has only been featured in passing in a significant way once, although it was nice to know that she is alive and well and free during the 2nd Gen timeline (ditto Fey!).

Perhaps the team as a whole was like a falling star, burning brightly but only for a short time.

I understand the respect that is due to no longer active Original Canon authors. But within the confines of honoring the rights of authors to their creations such as Billy Wilson/Tennyo I hope that something can be done to return them to Whateley (little wish) and to give us a glimpse at Team Kinba in their second year at Whateley (big wish).

I loved those guys and miss them and am sure I would really enjoy more stories about them just as I am really enjoying their successors on the Whately center stage.

So this is not a statement of anything which is not to my liking, just a mention of an absence of something which was very much to my liking.

You want Kimboids around? Wait until I do "Charge 5: Snobs de nourriture" and Charge 6: Oops (tentative titles)

And I might have to have Jade and Ayla take another trip with Kayda, Adalie, and Alicia. Who knows - there might be another museum that will wish it never opened its doors! And Kayda DOES tutor Ayla in advanced math and Billie in algebra.

We will see Fey on the floor - after all, Lanie WAS put in charge of the changeling wing, and that does include TK. And I know Phoenix is working on another Hank story that will have more of our favorite wackadoodles. Plus Absinthe 2, when it's canonized (St. Absinthe 2??? - oops, the OTHER definition of canonizing!) has Fey bits.

Your observation is totally correct but a cameo here and there of different individual members does not scratch my itch, as well-crafted as those cameos are. I think you guys know what I am asking for. But if the cabalists decide it can not be done I certainly support their decision. I don't doubt that they know better than I do.

Hey, since my comment went up a half hour before Tennyo made her appearance, does that mean I can take credit for having successfully applied pressure to have Tennyo return (quickly ducks head to avoid thrown objects)?
