  • Just a few small rants I wanna get off my chest...

Ok people, you are goinf to an event, how do you wanna pay for it?
A] $5 entrance fee which gets you a bunch of free entertainment, and the option of paying $15 to see Demo Derby, and/or paying for ride tickets
B] $20 to get in and also see the derby
C] $10 which gets you rides and you have to pay for the derby

W had it set up Option A, yet people wanted option D which was Just pay for the Derby, screw the rest. Um sorry, but the derby is not a separate event like you folks seem to be thinking, it is part of the fair

Why do you bring a two year old to a fair thinking there will be stuff for them to do? Did our advertisement say anything about kiddy entertainment? Ok yes we said rides, but have some common sense; what age ranges are they likely to be geared towards? If you said to match the ranges for the rest of our entertainment, horse pulls, demo derby, and line dancing, you are correct.

If you have a complaint; how about having something constructive to say so we can improve things for next year besides "We weren't happy, we want our money back."

Hey, sorry you waited until the last our of the fair, but when there is thunder and lightning, we shut down. So be nice when you request your money back, and don't give our security staff grief, they are doing their jobs.

I am a caffeine heathen; I prefer the waters of the mountain over the juice of the bean. Keep the Dews coming and no one will be hurt.

  • *nods*

I love the people who stay to see the whole show and then demand their money back because they didn't like it. ;P

  • I work in a hotel, and people will come in and ask, "What's your lowest rate?"

I reply with the lowest price I can go.

The people come back with "I have AAA" or AARP or military or whatever else they think will get them a bigger discount.

I of course reply with the AAA/AARP rate, which is anywhere from $10-20 more than the lowest rate I gave them earlier. It usually takes them a bit to understand that the AAA rate is higher than the lowest I can go.

    Don't Drick and Drive.
