  • Welcome to the Sixth World? I wonder if they talked this over with whomever now holds the IP for Shadowrun before shooting the film. While they certainly wouldn't need to - the idea of noir gothic/spellpunk is older than the game anyway, and it looks like it is different enough that it wouldn't be infringing unless they used actual SR material - it could easily have been useful for the scriptwriters, and would smooth over any ruffled feathers.

  • Looks interesting I'm glad it's Netflix handling this. It would be a little to weird for other movie studios to pull the trigger on something like this.

    I think that they would be fine Orcs and elves as races should be inside the public domain. Now they would probably have to talk to a lawyer if they revealed that Germany is being ruled by Lofwyr.
