    I actually knew someone who was snow-blinded. He has/had to wear dark glasses all the time and during a Change of Command ceremony, the new incoming Company Commander was reviewing the troops being escorted by both the outgoing Commander and Battalion Commander during troop inspection. The incoming commander demanded that the SFC take them off and was in the process of removing them, when he declined, from his face to which the old one stopped him. Both the outgoing commander and the Battalion Commander basically told him to f*** off.

    Odd... when I first loaded the site this morning, (hours before lighttech's message was posted) 2it showed in very white tones too for me. But it got back to normal the first time I force-refreshed the main page (to see if there were new messages), so I didn't bother to mention it.
    It might be a style sheet remaining from the time the site was down...

    • Ya... there was no 'fun' involved. All the pages had the logo in the upper left and a 500 Error (Instantiation) in the main panel.And that was all that was here. couldn't log into the front end... or the admin side. I'm 'glad' that most people missed it... but last night was no 'joke'
