  • in how people are attempting to register. I thought I would put out there, a question for people to comment on.

Has the Crystal Hall in the form of whateleyacademy.net ever sent anyone here an email they didn't ask for? (well aside from me with all the notices the web site puts out as to it's health and registrations....) ;)

  • I don't think that having everybody (what, hundreds of registered users?) answering "no" is productive; let's assume that everybody who didn't answer haven't received unexpected e-mails from the site. If anybody did receive one (I didn't, just to make it clear) please speak up.

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

  • I can provide details from Sendgrid, the company that handles our email distribution, that shows our email is about as professional as it gets. :) We have a very high rating.

That said, this is only a useful metric if we know what percentage of the registered users are responding.

I suggest that everyone who would answer "no" should instead "Thank" the first post. That way we can see how many people are responding without taking up much space.

  • I'm just looking at methods of not having people go to such lengths to protect themselves. In our case hiding too much information brings up "nefarious" purposes in my mind and I'm not going to put the site a t risk.
