So I just got back from seeing Justice League, and it good. Not as good as Wonder Woman, but better than the others that DC has put out. There is however a very Whateley moment in the movie.
If you've seen all the previews, you'll know that Martha Kent loses her farm to foreclosure, if you didn't you do now.
At the end of the movie, Martha is moving back into her house with Clark and Lois, and a bunch of people fixing it up. And Bruce Wayne.
Clark and Bruce are talking about getting the farm back, and Clark says "I don't see how you got the bank to change their minds."
In a very Ayla moment, Bruce somewhat sheepishly replies, "I bought the bank." and a moment later "It was the first thing I thought of."
Quotes are not exact, I don't have a perfect memory, I did almost bust out laughing though.
I will say that I thought Ray Fisher did a good job for his first film.
I think the biggest flaws in the movie are, a lack of time spent developing Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman. And well...
Superman. And it's just that he's Superman, and no one else is. And no one else is really close.
It's somewhat funny, whomever the local paper uses as a movie reviewer, I always look for his reviews of the Marvel, DC, and other superheroish movies. His ratings on the movies has run from a one and half or two stars all the way up to 4 stars. I have agreed with him on one movie, Guardians of the Galaxy 1. Every other movie he has given 4 stars, were the ones that stunk, every one I really liked he gave 2 stars or less. He gave Thor Ragnarok two stars, and Justice League 2.5, so I figured that I wouldn't like Justice League as much.
So anyway I recommend both movies.
