    • Good news, good news. I've finally worked out enough about Joomla in my on/off update and development cycles that I've solved one of the big issues that has been both a hindrence and limitation since we opened the new site. Yes, a portion of code was fixed in the recent patch that uncovered a setting/change that I had placed early in the set up that has been hidden / missing since (preventing me from overriding or setting it differently). As a result, I've finally solved the template issues that prevent me from making changes that hold constant through patch cycles. So finally, I'm free to do some of the more complex things that have been asked for over the years. Obviously, such things will take some time, but now that I don't have to fix the style and look of the site every time I update; I can spend that time on improvements that take us more and more into custom territory.
