    • To the fans of Whateley Academy:

    2018: Another fine year for this site. With a single "catastrophe" that I was involved in, and deeply regret. Let's elaborate.

    This year, we've seen a number of exemplary stories from our writers, that we the fans have deeply enjoyed. We're seeing the major storyline of the 1st Gen timeline begin to move towards the endgame. We've seen a "conclusion" (although I hope that is isn't really the end Morpheus, and that I'm a complete utter fool for thinking so) to the story of Imp. We've seen the site struggle it's way through some visual changes, and I'm sure that Kristin and the other mods have tried their hardest to keep this site afloat.

    You may wonder why I- one of the more recent members- is even bothering to write something. I'm doing this of my own accord, to try and sum up what has been a great year. I'm also doing this to make another apology to a member I wronged a little while ago, during the aforementioned "catastrophe".

    Camospan, I really didn't mean to cause you harm. If you even are still on this site, and if you haven't run off because I was a total and complete dick: I'm so sorry. I honestly didn't mean to be like that, and I'm probably going to never stop feeling guilty for ruining your ability to write here on this site. There is no excuse for my actions, and I am profoundly sorry.

    While I could spend the rest of this post rambling, instead I'm going to propose a toast. Wherever you are in the world, whenever you're reading this, let's congratulate our canon authors- those present and those who are deeply missed- and the diligent work of our moderation and administration team. I don't have to have a long history with this site to give this rather corny end-of-year toast, but I'm sure as hell going to give it anyway.

    To another year of Whateley!!!

    • It's hardly the end of Imp stories. We have to get to the conception of Karma, and then the confusion, panic, and ultimately joy of that. Then there would be the Mischief angle, how she accepts it. Will there be a wedding? won't there? Will Barney attempt to ruin that? So much more to go in Imp's story.
